Booking & Trials
We recommend scheduling your hair and makeup previews immediately upon booking your wedding. Our stylists often book out several months in advance. Early scheduling ensures we can accommodate your preview sessions before the big day.
On-Location Services
Prefer to get ready at your venue or another location? We’re happy to come to you! On-location services incur additional charges, including travel fees, tolls, and parking. For current travel rates, please contact us at [email protected].
Payment & Scheduling
Prior to your wedding day, you’ll receive an email detailing your balance and final schedule, which you can share with your bridal party. Final payment is due two weeks prior to wedding day. We accept cash or credit card. Cash payments can be made in person through the Salon. There is a 3% service fee to use your credit card or Venmo. Gratuities may be given separately to the stylists on wedding day.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you use airbrush makeup?
No, we have chosen not to use airbrush makeup. From our experience, it isn’t suitable for everyone. We can achieve the same flawless appearance using traditional foundation with various applicators.
What do I need to provide?
Nothing! We come fully equipped with all necessary hair and makeup supplies, including lashes. If we’re coming to your location, we just ask for a working space with ample natural light.
Can you use my personal makeup?
Certainly. If you prefer we use your makeup, we’re happy to do so. However, we can’t guarantee the same long-lasting results without our professional products, which include primers, setting powders, setting sprays, and high-end makeup designed for excellence and longevity.
When should I wash my hair before the event?
Your hair should be clean and 100% dry prior to styling. It’s a myth that dirty hair holds styles better. We recommend washing your hair 24 hours before your appointment to ensure it looks fresh and oil-free.
I have clip-in extensions. Will they work?
Absolutely! Clip-in extensions are a great accessory, especially for fuller or longer styles. Many inspiration photos with braids incorporate extensions. Extension add-ons to a style incur a $20+ surcharge.
Will my hairstyle last all day?
Yes, your hairstyle will look great throughout the day. While it may slightly relax and its natural texture may show through, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. We recommend choosing a style that suits your hair type. Our stylists will evaluate your hair and offer expertise on styles that will look great and last long.
Do you accept Venmo?
Yes, However, there is an added 3% service fee to use Venmo for final payment.
